We chose solar back in November of 2019. When we did this we signed a contract and obtained financing for our panels. Our package included solar panels, new AC and windows for the home. Everything went fine and we had solar and AC as of February of 2020. My sister and her husband also signed right before we did and everything went well for them. Right after they received everything my husband and myself did not get our windows. Myself, spouse and sister all worked diligently to get ahold of the sale rep to get this corrected. I unfortunately we discovered the company went out of business. Does anyone know how to get what they are paying for monthly? How can I get our windows? We chose this because we are trying to plan for retirement and our windows are over 20 years old with cracked seals .

All consumers need to get together and sue homestar and the companies that financed the panels contact consumer affairs in the state. They out of bussiness and should have had insurance plus the finance company is responsible for the contract homestar had you to sign

Terrible company. I am not the type of person that writes reviews. I have had enough with this company. Please do not use them. They made false promises. Completed faulty work. I strongly urge people to use a different company when looking for solar options. They use very unethical sales techniques. You will not get what you thought you were paying for, this will not offset your electric bill. They will try to pull the smoke screen over your eyes and say give it time, it will even itself off when you have long sun days. it never evens itself out. The system is inadequate for my families needs and has done nothing but destroy the finances of many middle income families.faulty work, tried to give them the benefit of the doubt to fix problems that were not resolved. Had to hire electricians to fix shotty work by a shotty company.

Terrible service. Terrible results.Update-Its been over four years since my solar panels were installed. The system still doesnt work properly. It took so many phone calls to finally reach the owner. But.....Complaining to Mike Mason, the owner does no good. The staff can be incredibly rude and hateful. In October mike mason asked me to give him one last chance to remedy the problem. They were supposed to add panels and require the system as well as pressure wash the existing panels. Covid has slowed things down some, but October was eight months ago. This has been a money pit. Buyer beware. This company has not stood by their product in over four years and their promises to correct the issues have been nothing more than empty promises.

Do not waste your money. This is the worst company we have ever dealt with. They take forever to respond to issues. And when they do it's worthless. We are not getting the results promised but have they ever sent anyone out to see if there is an issue? NO. We were also promised an attic fan that was never installed. This system will NEVER pay for itself as promised. This is a huge investment for virtually nothing. Again, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.
