Rude!! I put a significant deposit down and called to inquire eligibility for a refund. Got a flat no and I asked if I could possibly speak to someone about the breakdown as to why and she rudely disconnected me.

The most rude and unprofessional company I've ever had to deal with. I called 1/2 (the day my bill was due) because I got on my account and saw that it said I owed $0. Earlier that day I had checked my app to see what debit card was on it as I had received a new card recently and saw that it was my old debit card. I did not have my new card on me so I had to wait until I got home to pay with my new card. When I entered my app again it said I owed $0 so I proceeded to call this company at 4:28PM. I explained that there was no way a payment could be processed because my card was not valid. I was told that if the card wasn't valid the payment wouldn't have gone through and I needed to call my bank to verify the card had been turned off. I knew the money hadn't been taken out so I asked if I could go ahead and make a payment with my new debit card on the bill and was told that it would go towards my next months bill as a payment was already processed. I explained again that the card was not valid, the money was still in my account, and I'd like to make a payment so that I would not be charged anything. At that point they just took my name and confirmed my number and said they would give me a call back if it didn't go through. A week later 1/9 I got a notification that my payment had been returned and also charged another $30 for it being returned. So I called again to explain my situation and was told this time that I paid through E-check and the bank returned the payment. I explained I have never paid with E-check in any of my previous payments, that there isn't even an option in my app for me to pay with E-check or any connection to my bank account other than my old VISA, and that I had called the week before to try and pay to fix the situation before it became an issue, that I should not be being charged $30 for it when I had already tried to fix the situation before it became one. I asked that if I could get proof from the bank that nothing was ever tried to be pulled out or returned if it would waive the fee and was told I could bring it up there but the fee would roll over to next month. I then said that I would bring it up there and would like to speak to someone else and all I got was a rude 'okay' and then hung up on. I really do not understand why I wasn't told the first time I called that it was supposedly processed through an E-check so that I could have tried to get it stopped then and why I'm being charged because either someone didn't want to do their job efficiently or was too lazy and ready to go home since I called 30 minutes prior to closing that they didn't physically look my account up to tell me it wasn't processed through a debit card. $30 may not seem much to some, but as someone struggling to make ends meet through maternity leave $30 is more than what we can spare. On top of that, during an already stressful situation I should not be talked to like I'm illiterate and then hung up on. Stevie R.
