Amazing experience with Freedom Solar and Zach Sterling! They made the process easy and understandable and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to go solar.

I bought a solar system this year through Freedom Solar. My rep was Alex Steyer. He was professional, responsive, and helped me throughout the process in understanding the next steps, timing of rebates, and ultimately installation. He didn't try to upsell me on a system that was unreasonably large or on components I didn't need. Highly recommend.

My salesman was Eric Castillo, he was great to work with and very informative about the whole solar system. He answered all my questions and some that I did not even think about asking. Had a little hiccup with the city trying to get the permit which delayed the installation but Devon McCarley was on top of it and kept me informed. The installation team was thorough and very professional. Freedom Solar completed the installation of 37 solar panels on our rooftop on July 11, 2019. The installation had to be planned during my vacation time, but we were only 1 hour away so the trip back to complete the attic installation was no problem. The foreman even had 2 installers actually do the inside attic work so that I could go back to join my family on vacation. I was in contact with Jade Garcia afterwards and she assisted me with the rest, getting the final inspection and giving me the information on what to say to my electric company to switch my plan. Over all the experience was great and would recommend Freedom Solar.

Envirosolar from Ft. Worth installed our system 2 12 years ago and we were very disappointed and concerned. We have a large house but our credits were only about $25 saving per month. We actually had no communication from our system to Oncor for 11 months. Envirosolar did nothing. We went to their office in Ft Worth and not surprisingly, they had skipped out without paying rent. Disappeared. I contacted Solar Edge (supplies equipment) and was referred to FREEDOM SOLAR. Within a few days, they had a great technician out and he went through our entire system. It had been 'blocked' since day one. They are waiting to get a new piece of equipment and then we should be in good shape. It did not make any difference that we did not have them as our initial contractors and installers. Stefan and Nick responded quickly and efficiently. The moral is..... look at reviews, look at reviews. Envirosolar was touted as one of the most successful in Texas. Wrong. Go with Freedom if you are looking for honesty, knowledge and reputation.

These are some of the best solar panels made. They are not the cheapest panels but I believe quality is economy. It has been really fun to have no electric bill over the winter. We signed up with Green Mountain Energy for our grid supplier (at night). They are giving us credits for excess production, which we can then use in summer when our air conditioner runs a lot. I highly recommend putting solar on your house if you can - electric rates will go up over time but you are locked into FREE energy with the sun!
