Tanner Electric has a convoluted registration process that asks for a lot of extremely personal data which appears to be stored in a database which a low-level hacker could easily access. Ongoing we've experienced issues as follows: we're set up for auto-pay, Tanner sends us a bill saying we haven't paid, after a while we get another bill saying our electricity will be disconnected and we must pay a large sum to have it reconnected or $200 to reconnect after hours. This is nonsense as every single bill has been paid on time AUTOMATICALLY, hence the AUTO-PAY we've signed up with. Don't worry, Tanner. PSE also gets 2 stars on a review since they have an even worse system and their customer service is horrendous. Hopefully, someone steps up things at Tanner and gets these things which waste one's time, under control.

It's amazing that people will find stuff to complain about a small electric co-op. I've only had positive interactions with Tanner. Yes power has gone out because we live in the middle of the freaking woods where weather has the nerve to exist, but Tanner has consistently worked fast to resolve issues and I've found their service available and friendly when things do go down. I also appreciate that they have a renewable energy initiative where you can opt into having 100% of your energy come from renewable sources.

Tanner is always on the ball, helpful and fast. It isn't easy running an electric company in the middle of the woods. Right now people are probably complaining that the power is out. But did you see that storm last night? My sixty-foot-tall trees were doing the shimmy, twenty-foot-long branches wiggling like tassles. Blame global warming for the storm. Blame yourself for living in the country. But don't blame Tanner for working all night to get the power back on.

Great people, great service (we have underground cables). The team will work with you to solve any problem you have and are very responsive.

Terrible service with an attitude is what you get with a MONOPOLY.
